About Us

Our aim is to help staff and students in academic institutions fulfill their potential by providing high quality, state-of-the-art training courses in key skill areas.

We were founded in 2005 as a spin-out company from Imperial College London and we are still based next to the College's main campus in South Kensington.

Our clients are typically universities, research institutions, professional bodies and teaching hospitals.

We started by building one course for one university and, when this course proved popular,  started to build more and more.  Our catalogue currently extends to 24 courses.  We have a further 7 courses in beta testing and 23 more in the production pipeline.

Tens of thousands of staff and students in 92 different institutions now have access to our courses. Post course evaluation indicates very high satisfaction rates from those who use our courses.*

World-class experts and practitioners write our courses. They work closely with development groups of leading institutions to devise the content and format for each programme. This way, we ensure that our courses are rigorous, practical and relevant to the academic community.

* Epigeum courses achieved scores of 4.5/5.0 and 5.0/5.0 when Imperial College London surveyed their students and staff and asked them to rate taking our online courses in conjunction with face-to-face training.
